Mets-art morph-oz
Art, whatever the medium, has always been present in my life, but it's from 2013 that little by little the plastic arts have made their nest in my home.
The need to express my growing creativity, my ideas springing up with more and more force, I decided during 2018 to devote more time to the arts and to experimenting with them in a completely self-taught way. Then, I set up as an artist specializing in abstract art, at the beginning of 2020.
The concept of my work within the Mets-art morph-Oz brand:
• Mets: Mets from the verb to put, but also a reference to select foods. Art is savored, is delectable, thus participating in nourishing us internally.
• Art: For me, the visual arts are an aesthetic discipline appealing to the senses (the body), it is a direct emotional communication through combinations of different materials and colors. The very nature of life is for me, the most beautiful of creations, spontaneous, indomitable and impermanent.
• Morph: The visual arts allow you to put ideas, emotions, intentions or even opinions into shape, in images, in colors. A sincere artistic creation necessarily requires you to dig deep within yourself, to observe yourself lucidly, then to welcome yourself. Introspective work is very powerful through art; this invites you to discover yourself by removing the layers of conditioning, to gradually move towards the discovery of the authentic Self, of your own essence. • Oz: Dare from the verb Oser. Painting allows concepts, emotions, non-palpable and unmanifested energies to be placed on the support, thus giving birth to them in the tangible. Daring requires movement, a passage to concrete action in the material. The embodied creative action, the creation in itself then takes its place in “physicality”; thus, the creator takes his place in the world. “Oz” also refers to the Wizard of Oz, the practice of the arts gradually leads to full presence, to Being, to being ONE with the moment, to becoming ONE with the moment. There is then a notion of transcendence, and it's a bit “magical” when it happens.
