Lake Grangent extends from Aurec-sur-Loire (43) to Saint-Just Saint-Rambert (42). It houses a Marina in Saint-Victor-sur-Loire (municipality of Saint-Etienne), one of the largest inland ports in France. This body of water on the Loire of 21 km is retained by the Grangent dam. It is home to a majestic heritage such as the island of Grangent or the castle of Essalois. Surrounded by steep hillsides, forests and moors, Lake Grangent is ideal for Hiking and offer panoramas magnificent and the best photo spots in the Loire department!
