Gorges de la Loire Regional Nature Reserve, 355 hectares of nature

The Loire Gorges Nature Reserve is a protection system administered by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regional Council, allowing the long-term preservation of a fragile and remarkable natural space. On the right bank of the Loire, marked by its relief, at the crossroads of various climatic influences, it is home to very contrasting natural environments, sources of its major ecological interest. Pond David

It shelters the most southern of the ponds of the plain of Forez. Information panels line the trails to better tell the story, the environment and the built heritage from the XNUMXth to the XNUMXth century. The place is relaxing, you can fish, go around on foot*, by bike and observe many species of birds.
*Follow the yellow fish from the Chana fountain in the heart of the Saint-Rambert district (1h30 walk).
