From the gîte, a bird's eye view of the Ance valley, the eponymous river, the forests and of course a pleasant view of the hamlet of
Chalencon (medieval village)!

espresso (ground coffee), electric kettle, toaster, refrigerator with freezer, dishes, utensils and cookware. Table and
foundations.
Bathroom (large shower 120×80 cm), vanity unit, shower column with thermostatic mixer tap and hand shower),
hairdryer, electric towel dryer, VMC and WC. Washing machine.
Floor: (old staircase): 2 communicating bedrooms (sleeps 5).

WIFI connection via 4G router. To connect, lodge tenants will need to purchase a prepaid SIM card before their arrival. This
card gives access to a certain volume of calls, SMS/MMS, and internet consumption, within a defined period (from several days to
several months).
Samsung flat screen TV and TNT channels.
Board games (Mastermind, Blokus, Rummy, …) and card games.
Possibility of providing a meadow to accommodate horses/donkeys –
free service.
New electric heating: electric radiators with inertia. Towel dryer
electricity in the SDE.

End-of-stay cleaning service offered by the rental company: fixed price charged between €30 and €75 depending on the length of the stay.
Household utensils provided including a Dyson vacuum cleaner.
Ironing equipment provided (private iron and ironing board at the gite).
Independent arrival possible: secure and private key box at the gîte.
Communal outdoor space with private garden furniture at the gîte (forest table, parasol, deckchairs, etc.).

Do you know ? Chalencon is crossed by winding the cobbled streets accessible only on foot. Only the residents' cars are there
accepted. A short crossing which promises the visitor a timeless getaway.
From the gîte, many marked hiking trails*, also visits to
Chalencon: village perched on its rocky spur above the Ance river. Nestled around the remains of a medieval fortress and
of a chapel from the beginning of the 11th century, in the heart of wild nature. Further down, on
the Ance, the Devil's bridge and the thundering torrent delight hikers.
* Departing from the village of Saint-André de Chalencon, three circuits marked in yellow are labeled Respirando.
– The Plateaux de Saint-André circuit leads to the Vacherolles plateau, with a possible detour to reach the Lava Coulee of
Bouriane.
– The Bois du Bès circuit offers a pleasant and easy walk through the woods to reach the village of Orcignac.
– Finally the PR666, invites you to reach the Pont du Diable to discover the Ance valley, the natural border between Languedoc, Forez and
Velay, overlooked by the village of Chalencon and its medieval castle.
This accommodation is not suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM).
