Description
Follow rue de la Gare then, at the intersection, turn right to cross the railway line. Go straight. Ignore rue du Cimetière.
Climb to the right by a stone staircase. Go along the cemetery while continuing to climb. Continue straight on along a path. At the fork, turn right. Cross the N 88 over a bridge. Turn right and enter Rochain. Turn left and, a little further on, ignore a street on the right.
At the fork, continue to the right on the tarmac. Then follow the path (viewpoint). At the crossroads, continue straight on to Nizieux.
Turn right and follow this path straight to La Rullière. At the entrance to the village, turn right. Ignore a street to the left, then, at the intersection, head left. Then follow the path to the forest.
At the crossroads, climb to the left then continue the climb straight ahead. At the end of the forest, follow the path straight up to the road; take it to the right, then follow it to the left. Turn right, then, after Hermet-Haut, fork at
LEFT. Join a wide lane and take it to the right. Follow it straight downhill. Cross the old railway line and cross Hermet-Bas. Pass the bridge over the Semène.
Turn left on the road, then, after 50 m, climb to the right in the forest. Turn right into the housing estate. At the intersection, turn left. Then go right and pass under the N88. Just after the bridge, turn left on
a path ; follow it and come out on a road that you follow to a crossroads. Then turn right.
Turn left on the D 45 (route d'Aurec).
On leaving Pont-Salomon, turn right and overlook the Semène. Cross it by the footbridge. Just after, go left and follow the sports fields. Take the road to the right, then, at the crossroads with the main street, turn left to reach the start.
