From what age to start canoeing?

It is essential to know how to swim. The shortest route of 9 km is still a little sporty and is recommended from 7 to 8 years old.
Beginning on a plateau is more peaceful! At the base of Aurec-sur-Loire or Saint-Victor-sur-Loire, you can rent a canoe by the hour. From Aurec-sur-Loire, a family section (without rapids) is ideal for beginners and families!
