The Gorges de la Loire, Sanctuary of Pastry, does that surprise you??? Not us !!! 🙂 Renowned pastry chefs work here on a daily basis for our greatest pleasure!

The most famous : Without doubt Bruno Montcoudiol, with his title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France and World Champion by team, installed Rue du Commerce in Monistrol-sur-Loire.
The most “historic” :
*Dominique Bayard, pastry chef from father to son for 4 generations, i.e. since the 19th century Rue du commerce in Monistrol-sur-Loire
*blue thistle, a veritable institution of Saint-Just Saint-Rambert since 1952
The most “Parisian” : Nicolas Bacheyre du Faldo, Pastry, tea room Avenue de la Liberation in Monistrol-sur-Loire. Nicolas Bacheyre has proven himself in renowned houses in the capital: Fauchon, Fouquets, XV, a Sunday in Paris etc...

Desserts, pies, chocolates, ice creams, galettes, logs, assembled pieces, travel cakes, sweets, pastries…. It is difficult to recommend a specialty as the know-how is so varied, but one thing is certain, leaving the Gorges de la Loire without pushing the door of one of these beautiful addresses would be a sin!
