Chapelle des Ursulines

Chapel of the former Ursuline convent. Open only for guided tours for groups by reservation.
Decorated with remarkable monumental walnut sculptures from the 1653th century attributed to Pierre Vaneau (1694-3) and listed as Historic Monuments, this chapel will not leave you indifferent. An altarpiece 2m high by 35m1 wide, gilded with leaf, represents the death of St Joseph. Two statues of about 60mXNUMX of Marie-Madeleine and Ste Ursule, in natural walnut, treated in the round complete the decor.
