Circuits "découverte"

Two "discovery" circuits to discover Pont-Salomon!
Circuit 1: “Once upon a time…Pont-Salomon, capital of Faulx”
Departure: Rue de la Semène, 6km, 2h

Le Pont: platinum workshop from 1842 to 1978
Chabanne: manufacturing workshop from 1843 to 1965
Le Vieux Moulin: platinum workshop from 1844 to 1981
Le Foultier: Faulx factory from 1848 until around 1983
The Alliance: from 1857 until approximately 1998
La Fraque: sharpening workshop created in 1868
La Méane: sickle plating workshop from 1886 to 1947

Circuit 2: “Discovering the village”

The church: neo-Romanesque style, it was built between 1867 and 1870 by workers and financed by the Faulx factory.
The town hall: site of the old presbytery which was built by workers in the 1870s.
The Massenet room: it is the old cinema/theater
The school: it has welcomed primary school pupils since 1916 and was the town hall of Pont-Salomon until 1988.
Le Foultier: Faulx factory from 1848 until around 1983.
The Old Mill: platinum workshop from 1844 to 1981 (now destroyed)
