La réserve stéphanoise

Make sure you have brought sunscreen and your swimsuit. You might really need it in Saint-Étienne…
You do not believe in it ? However, the city does have its own fine sandy beach, near the picturesque village of Saint-Victor-sur-Loire. It's up to you to laze around the Saint-Etienne style by staying at the water's edge or embarking on a cruise. You will then have the right vantage point to enjoy the treasures abounding in the Gorges de la Loire nature reserve.

You can also climb into the medieval village which offers a breathtaking view of the Loire. The opportunity to go back in time by discovering the castle and the church of Saint-Victor. Once back down, we head back towards Saint-Étienne and stroll through the Berland rose garden where we can see and smell “Aimé Jacquet” or “Muriel Robin”…
Don't worry, we're talking about roses here, not the personalities that relate to them!

From Les Condamines, a little further, there are many hiking trails. By taking them, you penetrate to the heart of the secrets of the nature reserve. The guides are the eagle owl, the yellow-bellied ringer or even the blue thyme. With a little luck, you can even ask them for a selfie with the Château d'Essalois or that of Grangent in the background. Lucky guys!
