Dome volcano. This old, craterless volcano formed above many lava exit points. From the top of its 1754 m, the Mézenc valiantly dominates all the volcanic reliefs of Haute-Loire and Ardèche.
Access: Mézenc (43) or Boutières (07) car park. Hike 2 hours (return) 4 km, 250 m elevation gain. Interpretation table by the Boutières trail and summit orientation tables.
