The grated potato is THE emblematic recipe of our territory. It goes perfectly with our delicious country charcuterie or homemade sarrasson with a small green salad: a delight!

Configuration

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 8 to 10 potatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic or onions according to your taste
  • parsley
  • sunflower oil
  • 2 eggs
  • utensil: a grater or a robot that does the job!

Step by step recipe

Peel the potatoes and rinse them, grate them (rather thick) and add the garlic or the onions and the finely chopped parsley.

Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them like an omelet.

Mix the eggs with the grated potatoes, garlic and chopped parsley, salt and pepper!

In a frying pan, pour the sunflower oil (at least 2 or 3 tablespoons) and heat it.

When the pan is hot enough, pour the mixture, cook and brown on both sides until you get a patty. You can also make small piles to obtain individual portions.

Serve with a small salad and local charcuterie.
