From steep gorges to hilly plateaus and vast, calm river plains: the terrain and height differences are very varied. We reveal to you the hiking trails which allow you to access the banks of the Loire on foot around Monistrol-sur-Loire, Aurec-sur-Loire and Saint-Just Saint-Rambert.

The plateaus of the Gorges de la Loire are home to several rivers full of fish which constitute charming valleys. The Ance, the Dunière, the Lignon, the Andrable, the Semène, the Gampille, the Ondaine, the streams of Foletier, Piat, Ramel, flow from plateaus to hilly lands.
